Tell the automation/test framework where to look for your target logs, then it also provides/dumps those logs in with test results, either upon error/failure or side-by-side regardless.

We'd rather not package large binary files -- or any for that matter -- with candybean. Ideally, any lib/binary dependencies that live outside of maven are downloaded only when used without affected test execution performance (one and done). Maybe you'd have some control over which version to use; maybe you'd be notified if there are version updates. This, of course, all sounds like maven functionality, so perhaps pushing a methodology involving a locally mirrored maven repository is key.
