Add the basic underlying gameplay logic of the board, irrespective of actual rules nor how those actions are performed by the user:

• Place a piece on the board, owned by one of the 2 players
• Select the piece (mark logical piece selected; no UI/hand manip here)
• Move the piece (change position of logical piece; no visuals)
• etc.

This will be plugged to the various user actions (hand manip to select I assume, etc.) and to the rules later. This is just the base of actually performing the action on the logical board.
