Suggested by @caghandemir.
We should look into pulling the plugins from GitHub rather than packaging them all into Autoplugin. This would make Autoplugin lighter and its updates quicker while at the same time, allowing the devs of some awesome plugins to get the numbers they deserve.
Downside may be that it could be a little finicky to download plugins as they are installed. Maybe we think about downloading them all on the first launch of Autoplugin or if they are missing.
It would be nice to see all the developers who collaborated on this project and the Autoplugin developers / translators on a page
This plugin is only compatible with OLED model Vita consoles. Tested to be functional on 3.60 Ensō and now 3.68 h-encore.

Because if the really sparse documentation of VitaBright I thought and downloaded AutoPlugin, it seems like an easier way to manage vita plugins, but is it me or is there an old version of VitaBright in this plugin?
Are there any plans for including upgrades to AutoPlugin if developers release a new version of there plugin?

From 2.0 the plugin update to 2.01 from the app, but in 2.01 don't update to 2.02 from the app.
How about getting this nice piece of Homebrew listed over at VitaDB so that it can be easily installed via e.g. Vita Homebrew Browser.
I have an official Sony 64GB memory and a micro SD 64GB, in my case it would be interesting to have the possibility of mounting the micro SD as UMA instead of UX0. Could you please add the necessary plugin for this?
It looks like the VitaCheat update no longer works. Looking into the code and the VitaCheat repo, it looks like on 14NOV2018, LIST.md was removed which broke this functionality.

Perhaps we can get r0ah to add the LIST.md again, if not, maybe there is a way we can download the repository as a zip and just unzip it and copy the psv files that way. I have no idea how difficult that would be.

EDIT 2: I believe I have updated the lua to fix this issue, but I'm not exactly sure how to build a Vita app. Looking into how I can test it now.
EDIT 3: I figured out how to replace the lua file, but I'm having an issue with the api endpoint (it says I've hit the limit even though the limit should be 5000 and there's no way I sent 5000 requests). Also I'm not sure if it is even downloading the file. I'll keep playing with it. While looking through some more stuff, I stumbled upon the bit of code that extracts the vitacheat.zip file to ux0 when vitacheat is first installed. Somehow I ended up with an empty ux0:/vitacheat/db folder, which is why I noticed that the updates no longer work. After removing vitacheat and reinstalling it, all the psv files are there. Should we just remove the functionality to try and check for new updates for VitaCheat since it does nothing and can lead to some confusion?
i install all autoplugins and when the vita restart my internal memory is missing. what can i do about this? can i undo what i install? pls help me tnx
Just installed the latest autoplugin and got this error in my PSVITA v3.68.
using v3.20 released just 20 min ago... so there must be a bug of some sort. I'll try to reverse back to the previous version to see if it works.
"System Message - wifi is required" is display.
"Check for Plugins Updates" works only when connecting to the Internet via Wi-Fi.

I wanted to cancel the update of autoplugin because the download can be slow sometimes. I get like 100kb/s, I had to download here and use a vpn. Idk if github has issues on sea or ph server though

I went into the application, browsed the plugins available, and then I exited via START, then it resulted in a GPU Crash. It dumped the core file, but then the screen went blank but the back light is still on. I couldn't exit via the PS button, so I did a hard shutdown. Sadly, it isn't shutting down and the green power light is flashing. I cannot do anything. I tried booting into safe mode, but it's still on. I'm on 3.67 h-encore HENKAKU.

I plan to tranlate your tools to Chinese, but the language.txt used ANSI and the app unable to recognize Chinese characters,please upgrade it to UTF-8.
Also add a feature to auto load TTF font in ux0:data/AUTOPLUGIN/font/font.ttf, because some Chinese characters do not display correctly when use the default font!
Would it be possible to implement vitacheat? It has been really difficult trying to set it up and i think people would benefit from this.
when you run tf-card-plugin-tool it replaces ux0:tai/config.txt with a directory called config.txt
autoplugin(aswell as every other plugin manager i've seen) doesn't handle that properly.

We could probably put something into script.lua that checks if the os.language() is CHINESE_T and if so downloads and installs the font pretty easily.
EDIT: I added code that does this check/install and downloads the font if necessary.
I think it would be better if the app isn't updated frequently.

Even while selecting ur0 and gamesd plugin by pressing up button all plugins updated but deleted gamesd.skprx plugin comment line leading to sd2vita not being detected.. This is insane why give such an option then?!!! Please rectify in next update.

Installed the plugins to ur0 by mistake and now i can't get back all my apps and vita shell etc i assume this happened because my usb is setup as ux0 so i'm kinda lost here
I had a custom gamma filter and after using this to download some plugins and autoadd to a config it reset the gamma
It should check if configs exist before overwriting them

With all of the wonderful additions that Autoplugin has seen, I've begun to notice it becoming more and more crowded. I'm wondering if something like an "Extras" menu would be a welcome idea. I started playing around with the idea to get more familiar with .lua and came up with the following example.

3.69 is not hackable
Since v0.44 pkgj now uses hardcoded NPS urls [+Comp packs] by default, but they are still overwriteable by using config.txt and this is why it should be removed from autoplugin,as it might cause issues for end users.
Also, rest of the config.txt [besides urls] is default, so no need to include it either.
Hi! I installed the plugin for sd2vita and it's ok, working fine
But when I try to install some plugins, I selected ux0 to install on sd2vita, but when I check with vitashell, everything is installed in ur0 and when I restart the vita, nothing is loaded, what I'm doing wrong?

It would be awesome if we could translate the various menu options in-app and easily get them to the maintainers of Autoplugin.
I haven't started taking a crack at this yet, but I'm thinking it would take a pretty big refactor in how the languages work. I'm thinking if there were a giant array like:
language = { MENU_TITLE="Autoplugin", MENU_VITA_PLUGINS="Plugins for Vita" }
We could call them like os.message(language[MENU_TITLE])
In the menu, there could be a translate option that loads the English language, your current language file, and your personal translations like this:

From there, it would iterate them into a table and you could select a row to modify your personal translations.
I haven't quite figured out how sending them to the maintainers would work just yet, and some of the syntax here might be incorrect. I'm just brainstorming.
EDIT: Something else I just thought about is that this will break the current feature that defaults to English if there is no translation. This will need to be handled in some way.
EDIT 2: Learned a bit more about tables. I believe that the language files will look like a lot of these:
language["MENU_TITLE"]="Autoplugin"
which can be referenced like this:
language["MENU_TITLE"]
I still believe putting it onto a table in necessary so the different languages can be easily compared.
