Fix entries issues of dark version on Firefox

Use "light theme" for webs on Firefox.

  1. Go to about:config,

  2. create a pref called widget.content.gtk-theme-override of type String,

  3. and give it a value of Mojave-light. This will fix it.

Strange Corners With Dark Theme

Firstly, keep up the great work, your themes are always top-notch.

I found that there is a little sharp corner sticking out of the round corner on the dark theme (see screenshot). This is at the bottom of the window (bottom left & right)

corners

Is there a way to fix this, maybe using a sharp corner like the light variant of the theme (no curved corners on the bottom)?

Not an issue just showing as couple adjustments I made and letting you see them.

This is nothing more than letting you see these changes and then you can have a better understanding of what I am talking about.
This is the whisker menu after changing it to:

window#whiskermenu-window {
background-color: #333333;

screenshot_2019-02-23_10-14-17

Also I am using a different xfwm4 theme in this screenshot. It has that rolled back look that I really don't understand how is achieved but I love it. The xfwm4 is here.
https://github.com/B00merang-Project/macOS-Dark

I had to change the color of top thunar to match my xfwm4 but that is not something I wanted to do but I had to to use this xfwm4 theme.

Macos

Can you tell me where the macos icon is downloaded?

How to apply GDM theme?

Hello,

I installed my theme using sudo ./install.sh -g and apply theme succesfully in system.

But in login screen, this theme is not applied, how to do this?

GDM on Fedora 30 with Wayland

So is there any specific reason that would make the GDM theme not working on fedora 30 with wayland? Because i installed properly even got the firefox, shell and application themes all working but the GDM simply doesn't. It has happened a couple of times where for some reason the intended theme lock screen just works, but it's really inconsistent. Without any change, the theme just works and then stops working and falls back to the default one.

Reporting

Greetings, Vince.
Thanks for your great work, it's amazing, like always.

I report that in this update, the font color problem in Vala Panel returned, so is the same with High Sierra version.
Again. thanks for your effort, great work.

End of report... }xD

How do you install GDM theme?

Hello,

I apologize in advance if this question is a bit dumb.

I don't really know how to install the GDM theme. I ran ./install.sh -g but all I get is a Done message.

I've looked at more complex method but it seems pretty hard to change the GDM manually.

Please help?

Best regards,

Please make a new release.

Cinnamon DE: No "Menu" button displayed

I use cinnamon DE and the "menu" button is not displayed.
If I click on it, where it is supposed to be, it works as expected.
See attached images:

These 2 are Mojave-dark, no menu button:
1Mojave-dark
3Mojave-dark

These are with Plata Theme, the menu button displayed at top left:

Wired background in GNOME

I encounter wired menu background and not sure where does the problem come from. The problem will occur when I used mojave series shell themes (both light and dark). I'm running Arch Linux with latest update (as today gnome3.34) on xps9370 4k model. Here are the pictures.

No transparency in Nautilus (XFCE)

Hi,

I'm on Manjaro under XFCE. I replaced Thunar by Nautilus but in Light or Dark theme, the left panel of nautilus is always black without transparency. Have I done something wrong?

Thanks.

Some elements are gray/black colored instead of blue

Using Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon
Screenshot
As you can see, the 'Downloads' box is gray/black colored and not blue, also the 'Delete' button box too. Not sure if this is a limitation to Cinnamon desktop. EDIT: using Nemo file manager if that helps.

Dark panel on light theme?

Nice job on theme! I'm impressed with your attention to detail.
Can I somehow mix light theme and dark panel? I prefer light theme overall, but since I'm using dark themes in some of my applications it would be easier on eyes to have always dark panel.
Even having not themed panel would suffice, because it would fallback to Elementary OS default black one.
Could you guide me how to achieve such an effect?

xfwm4 window buttons

hi.

why there is no difference for "normal" and "alt" window buttons in folders xfwm4 themes?

on the screenshots shows difference for title buttons.. its mean a applicable to xfwm4?

[Help Needed] A way to revert GDM theme

Hello,

I just installed the theme with gdm option enabled. Everything is fine and good. But, I want to revert to the default theme (Ubuntu 19.04) and there is no option available on install.sh.

I've tried to read the code from install.sh and try to revert it, it makes me kinda confused (I'm not familiar with GDM theme and never touched it before).

And now I'm looking for help to make my GDM theme back with factory configuration.

Thank you.

Chromium on Ubuntu 18.04 not adapting dark theme

Many thanks for the great theme. However, on my Ubuntu 18.04 desktop using GNOME 3.28.2 Chromium (Version 73.0.3683.103 (Offizieller Build) snap (64-Bit)) does not use the mojave-dark-theme. When I switch to 'Adwaita-dark', chrome uses the dark mode as well. I am using the latest version of your mojave-theme from your repo and re-installed it (as normal user and as sudo for installing the gdm components).

Bildschirmfoto vom 2019-05-30 14-18-53

And something else I noticed: The background picture for the logon-screen (GDM) is not shown on my system.

I am keen to assist, if you need any further information. Maybe I simply misconfigured something - please advise.

Many thanks!

Launcher icon overlayed with 9 dots icon

Gnome 3.32.
In the dash, the rocket application launcher icon which is part of this theme is overlayed by the normal 9 dots launcher icon. Using dash to dock extension if it makes any difference. See screenshot.

Firefox CSS dark theme not working

Hi there,

Congrats on this awesome theme, it looks incredible and fits perfectly with the macos gnome GTK theme.
However, I can't seem to get the dark theme working. The light theme works great, but when I go to select the dark theme in the Firefox Customization menu, the Firefox top ribbon (search bar, buttons, everything) remains in the light theme.

Any ideas? Thankful for any help!

Close button in overview mode

Gnome 3.32.0 using Wayland (though same on Xorg), using McMojave Dark for Gnome-shell, McMojave Light for Applications. Taken directly from github master branch.

The window close icon in Overview (Activities) mode don't look right. Please see screenshot. It looks even worse when hovering over it (please see second screenshot while hovering over it). I'm sure it didn't look that bad before Gnome 3.32. If that's how it should look, then feel free to close this issue (though consider making it more visually attractive, since it looks terrible).

Install script with symlinks

Having git cloned the theme repository, it would be nice to use the installer script to create symlinks to as much of the downloaded content as possible. Doing so, would ensure that all the installed instances of the themes (light, dark, etc) would always have the latest updates when a git pull is performed on the local working directory.

How to customize blue accent on top bar?

Loved your theme and was trying to make some adjustments, like changing the blue/purple accent while selecting any tray icon in top bar, in example.

How can I change that?

Thanks!
