anki.vector.sdk's Issues

Not receiving connection lost event when Vector is turned off

I am not receiving connection lost events when Vector is turned off, or powers himself off (eg when he is stuck/lost and his battery gets low).

I think the fix would be to add timers to the event stream handler, control response handler, and camera handler. When a new event occurs there, it resets the timer. When the timer expires, it would then raise a lost connection event, lost control event, etc.

This looks like it could interact with several other parts of the assembly. So I thought it would be best to bring it up as an issue first, before making changes in lots places. What would your prefer design be?

Thank-you and have a great day!

Running the SDK on .NET 3.1

.NET 3.1 is the LTS version of dotnet, and the only way I can get the SDK working with my MacBook Pro (using Rosetta). Do you plan to upgrade the SDK to use 3.1 officially, and is there any limitations in doing so (features which exist in 3.0 but not 3.1 used by the SDK).

Missing reference

When I try to build, I get errors for Anki.Vector.SDK\Anki.Vector\ExternalInterface\HttpRestMetaData.cs :
Error CS0234 The type or namespace name 'DataAnnotations' does not exist in the namespace 'System.ComponentModel' (are you missing an assembly reference?)
