could it be that the latest version(v0.6.0) is way behind of the master branch and some very older and outdated version from 2022 is being served via NPM?

I just updated some peer / dev-dependencies e.g. @angular-eslint/template-parser to 16.x.x. and getting some compile errors, even tho your readme states that it is well up to date with angular 16 (kudos 👍 ).

Exactly the rule I was looking for 👍 and was about to write myself (but struggled quite a bit with it)

I found an issue tho with the auto-fixing when having multiline statements (using the implicit option)

          this.implicitVar === 'something'

      ></button>

This won't get fixed correctly and also the wrong property is underlined in my code editor: implicitVar instead of this
