robotwebtools.github.io's Issues

Broken links in Actionlib Client tutorial

The tutorial page for Actionlib Client, at http://wiki.ros.org/roslibjs/Tutorials/ActionlibClient, has two references to further documentation, both of which have a broken link.

"Documentation of all the constructor options and available functions can be found in the ROSLIB.ActionClient docs." The broken link is http://robotwebtools.org/jsdoc/roslibjs/current/ROSLIB.ActionClient.html

"The ROSLIB.Goal docs describe all the constructor options and functions available. " The broken link is http://robotwebtools.org/jsdoc/roslibjs/current/ROSLIB.Goal.html

CDN content not using valid SSL certs

The server https://cdn.robotwebtools.org does not have a currently valid SSL key. The content appears to be hosted on AWS cloudfront which has great support for string SSL keys, please use it. This is a serious security and privacy problem which could lead to compromises of fielded systems. Also for users who choose to pull down your code from this avenue will encounter CORS complaints and will need to relax their security settings to enable users to load insecure content. This is a major problem.

If you cannot secure your CDN with SSL you should take it down and encourage users to distribute code independently.

Revive turtlebot urdf demo

Turtlebot URDF demo has been disabled by the issue #36.
Once brown's new server up and running, we can re-enable this.

gzip compression of resources is not enabled.

Initial loading of Robonaut demo take > 30 sec and mostly bandwidth bound.
From Audit tab:
Enable gzip compression (33)
Compressing the following resources with gzip could reduce their transfer size by about two thirds (~7.4 MB):

TypeError: xmlDoc is undefined[详细了解]

你好,我在尝试运行demos路径下的/home/mrchen/robotwebtools.github.io/demos/turtlebot-urdf.html页面时.浏览器报错如下:

`TypeError: b is undefined[详细了解] roslib.min.js:2:13904

d http://static.robotwebtools.org/roslibjs/current/roslib.min.js:2 <anonymous> http://static.robotwebtools.org/ros3djs/current/ros3d.min.js:1 get http://static.robotwebtools.org/roslibjs/current/roslib.min.js:1 callService http://static.robotwebtools.org/roslibjs/current/roslib.min.js:1 e http://static.robotwebtools.org/roslibjs/current/roslib.min.js:1 emit http://static.robotwebtools.org/roslibjs/current/roslib.min.js:1 b http://static.robotwebtools.org/roslibjs/current/roslib.min.js:2 c http://static.robotwebtools.org/roslibjs/current/roslib.min.js:2 onmessage http://static.robotwebtools.org/roslibjs/current/roslib.min.js:2`

请问是否是操作步骤不正确导致的,我使用的是FireFox浏览器,还有请问urdfClient函数path参数,如何正确引用本地dae文件,路径如何写

roslibjs documentation awry

In the Home page for roslibjs documentation (http://robotwebtools.org/jsdoc/roslibjs/current/), several classes (e.g., ActionClient, Pose, Message, and perhaps others) are missing at least part of their description. There is much information regarding contributors which is probably not intended.

This is the page reached by following the documentation link on the libraries page of the robotwebtools web site.

Parts of navbar disappears occasionally.

When clicking a navigation item, every now and then, parts of navbar will disappear. For example, click Tools then Tutorials seems to reproduce it sometimes. Perhaps it's a z-indexing issue?

Better support for responsive design.

When shrinking the width of the window, the padding of the header and the articles' body colors mess up. Maybe include bootstrap-responsive.css? Or is that included with bootstrap.css?

the website seems to be down

I just visited the website of RobotWebTools (robotwebtools.org) ,however, ifound that the website has been down ,I cannot open any page of it.
The worst problem is that I cannot download some .js files from cdn.robotwebtools.org to backup to loaclhost, such as "ColladaLoader2.js" "eventemitter2.min.js" . And I don't know where to find them on other space. So,I cannot try the all demos.
Sorry for that I cannot describe my problems well in English.
Could you give me a copy of the all files on cdn.robotwebtools.org or fix the website?
Thank very much !!!

CDN for resources

So the CDN for resources (mesh files) is not going to work for the next few weeks I would guess. Amazon is aware of an issue with CloudFront and S3 that causes incorrect headers to be cached on the CDN causing browsers to not load resources (collada models and such). Until a fix is in place, I will setup a subdomain to point directly at the S3 resources.

JavaScript files are unaffected by any of this.

Broken subpages of repos

In the past robotwebtools.org/roslibjs would link to the GH-pages of the roslibjs repo.

This linking isn't working anymore. This is either caused by renaming this repo from robotwebtools.github.io to robotwebtools.org or by adding the .nojekyll file.

Website down; Maintainers, check this issue!

Hey Maintainers,

The custom domain, robotwebtools.org, doesn't seem to be working. I have no clue whether this domain was registered somewhere and that registration came to an end. Or GitHub registers these custom domains.

In case of the latter, it is just an temporary issue with GitHub, which doesn't require any action from us. Otherwise it does.
