rc_transmitter's Issues

Question: RC Transmitter

Hi,
Sorry if my question is stupid,

I'd like to setup an "Arduino Bridge" between an RC Car WLtoys K989 and a computer.
Sending WebSocket/HTTP command to the Arduino then to the RC Car Receiver.
(Yes I know, lag will be a problem)

Should I start with RC_Transmitter repository code ? Or is there a lighweight version / article ?
Thanks

Can not seem to get it to verify

HI I'm using Arduino IDE 2.2.1

opening a fresh copy of the RC Transmitter code and I believe all the required Library's including your version on statusLED
i can not seem to get the code to verify
it gets to greenLED.begin(6); // Green LED on pin 5
and gets the following error
Compilation error: no matching function for call to 'statusLED::begin(int)'

im at a loss as to what i have done wrong with it.

any help would be appreciated or if you are able to send or upload a complete with all included files.

Thank you

BOM missing

Hi,

Is it possible to provide BOM for the transmitter, like you did for Micro_RC_Receiver?

Thanks.

Trainer module PPM

Hello i have make your transmitter, but i have many professionale tx around my house. It' s possibile to make a module that i can connect to trainer Port of a commerciale TX that take ppm signal? Thanks

Connection/pairing problem

Hi,

I assembled transmitter and receiver.
Transmitter is working, i can operate menu.
I can't verify if receiver is working, because there is no indication of work.
Receiver should be set to ID 1.
I checked the radio voltage and all connections. They are good.

When i power up the receiver and transmitter, they won't connect.
Is there another step to pair them?
Do you have any suggestion what to check?
After few hours I'm out of ideas.

Thanks for help
Kiriki

Can you show the schematic of the final radio control

Hello
You do a beautiful job. Congratulations.
Recent video radios have more Button and potentiometers.
Can you show the schematic of the final radio control?
I have been following your projects for a long time.
please

Expected variable ranges

Great project! I am building this into a RC car style pistol grip transmitter, different brand though than the WLToys. What are the expected ranges of the wheel left/right and throttle fwd/rev that are being sent to the receiver? What I am getting right now:

Throttle: fwd = 72, mid = 50, rev = 37
Steer: left = 37, mid = 50, right =63.

Is this correct or should it be a range between 0-100?

I may not be understanding this correctly:

// Joystick calibration int range = 1023; // 1023, if entire pot wiper range is used int reverseEndpoint = 0; // the point, where the throttle joystick hits its reverse end stop

Trim

Hello, Congrats for the project and execution. I wonder if is possible to put trims in this project ( ele, ail and rudder) , fly a model is extreme dificult without them
Regards
Vinci

Housing

Could you please share .stl files for the housing like you did for the receiver?
