I've made a pull request to add an option to the settings window which makes it use the vanilla cursor icon (#171).

Install Visual Studio, open the project in the project folder. At the top, press "build", then go to the folder you'll see a folder called either "debug" or something else like "release", go into that and you will find an exe.
