Hi,
Please wait until the program running out. It depends on your data size but this step may use several days.
Constructing the DBG could be a computationally intensive step especially when your input files are big enough.
Plus, the sparse_pregraph use less memory then pregraph but need more time because it has two round of loading files and chopping reads into kmers.
