I have not shown pools for ASC, DGC, FST, FRK, GLC, GDC, XJO, MOON, and SBC
I know it's possible with mobile miner but how about multiminer itself controlling other instances?
If you choose litecoin for the base coin in strategies, it gives this error in the notifications.
should be fairly straight forward.
a popup comes up saying something about an unhandeled exception with these details Please help!!!
happens when i try to install bfgminer

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

Upon using 2.0.2, I get this error whenever I try to set pool settings. Unless I erase the settings folder, I no longer even get a main window when restarting. This only happens with my usb miner attched also.

I'm not sure if it's user error, but I'm trying to have my cgminer workers use the MultiMiner stratum proxy on port 8888. I've changed the stratum proxy port in "Configure Settings" > "Advanced Miner Settings" > "Stratum Port" to 8888, but connections to that port will not succeed.
I've used netstat -an to inspect open ports and discovered that the proxy only listens on port 3333, regardless of the setting.
If it means anything, the Getwork port does listen on the correct port when set.
If the strategy setting would be pluggable (with a plug-in feature) I could write my own strategy to mine coin =)
This could be a lovely features!
The calculation of the accepted shares variable adds up shares for all devices with the same device index. However, if you have two different types of devices (in my example, a GPU and a BE), they are each device index 1, so the display shows that each of them have an accepted shares value that is actually the sum of both devices.
Example:
15/10/2013 00:15 15/10/2013 00:22 Megacoin MEC .00007879 .00007879 30 7.31 minutes #1
15/10/2013 00:15 15/10/2013 00:22 Bitcoin BTC 1 1 30 7.26 minutes #1
I think that lastAcceptedShares needs to be indexed on both device id and device kind.
I love this idea, but i would benefit something like this controlling my "stratum-mining-proxy" rather than my miners.
An exeption on found block occur.
Sorry I forgot to copy paste anything :( but what I can remember is something in the call stack: a "NotygiShare.." method and the last call was the extension methid "Single()" called (of course) on a empty collection (this cause the exception).
If (lol) I found another one block I will copy the text ;)
Thanks!
I have a problem with the difficulty, price, profiability and pool columns, shown since version 2.3.0 of MultiMiner,The information shown with erroneous values.
In the version 2.2.8 of MultiMiner these columns showed the information well.
Love the program, great work.
Just one problem, when I add my different coins and pools (i only mine scrypt) only the first coin that i setup using the wizard will mine script. The rest, when I switch will for some reason mine in SHA-2.
Eg Stablecoin will be basing in scrypt, then when i switch to any other coin i added whether it be fastcoin, dmd, ltd etc it will start basing in SHA-2 and won't mine anything.
Some help would be appreciated, is there an option that I am missing?

In CoinConfigurations.xml file, there's a MinerFlags tag that allow user to configure a global miner flags.
bfgminer
allows configuring a http proxy for each pool, using the -x or --pool-proxy flag. Since it applies to each pool, the flags has to follow the -o flag.
I suggest to add a "ArrayOfCoinConfiguration/CoinConfiguration/Pools/MiningPool/PoolFlags", and corresponding UI functions.
This would be useful/helpful if you want to mine behind a firewall.
So we can fine-tun performance or see the exact stuff going on.
It seem bfgminer can detect the usb miner with that driver: would be wonderful if there is a way to launch bfgminer from this state.
Can we have ability to add custom miners like cudaminer for Nvidia cards? Maybe just have additional fields to path to miner and miner-specific parameters
I getting this error, please help

Hi.
I'm a veteran Bitcoin miner and amateur Litecoin miner. I was looking for a way to turn on and off my LiteCoin mining rig (currently just my gaming PC ) whilst I'm not home and found the MobileMiner app. Which then directed me to here, MultiMiner. Now I have everything set up, everything works when I start it up manually, but I can't access it through MobileMiner, it just keeps saying Error accessing MobileMiner API every 5 minutes or so. please help? Thanks.
Hi,
I keep getting this error message. It continues to mine, but the connection with MobileMiner is lost. I have tried with several versions of both MultiMiner and bfgminer, same result.
I hope you are able to sort this out, your program is great otherwise
The error message is as follows:
See the end of this message for details on invoking

Hi
Is there a problem with multiminer mine crashed 2hrs ago and says multiminer.win has stopped working searching internet for solutions??
MultiMiner scans and finds them fine but when I press start it cant seem to get them running. I tested multiMiner with my graphics card and it seems to work fine.
I did notice that when MultiMiner tries to start the Erupters the options/arguments that are run are not what I've seen before. I use -S all --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100 with bfgminer but it appears MultiMiner doesn't add this. When I go into the coins and add --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100 MultiMiner attempts to start the Erupters and then crashes them.
Is there something I need to do to get it to run them? The Erupters work fine when using just bfgMiner with -S all --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100.
I buyed the Nanofury NF1 and this miner wont be detected.
as per https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=248173.msg4334493#msg4334493
Is it possible to have a value that we can set to try and reenable a pool. Rather than have multiple pools for the odd chance when a pool goes down. Having strategies enabled is useful for profitability reasons and having a pool go down (sometimes for only a few minutes) disbales it until it's manually reenabled.
The value can either "ping" the pool to see if it's back up, or just blanket reenable it on the off chance it is (if not it will disable again)
Thoughts?
Hi
Is there a problem with multiminer mine crashed 2hrs ago and says multiminer.win has stopped working searching internet for solutions??
thanks for the work on multiminer
when choosing strategy by profitability I assume that when using coinchoose as the base it selects the instantaneous profitability column or am I wrong ?
would it be possible to allow for the 7 day average profitability to be selected
since it makes more sense to me since that column shows a stable profitability over a week while the instantenous profitability changes every minute you refresh the page
it would be great to see this feature implemented
I get this error when I first load Multiminer. I also get errors throughout the day sometimes. It also doesn't show hash rate, or any information that it's processing while running when this error appears.

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Could you add support for MemeCoin?
Or in fact any coin not listed on coinchoose.com?
I set this setting earlier today to see how well it would work for my HTPC to mine while I do everything (would save me from stopping and starting the miner each time) But I found it wasn't effective enough.
So I turned off the setting, expecting it to switch back to my indicated intensities as based on the arguments I've set for scryppt. It doesn't turn off. my intensity is still "D" on both GPUs. Definitely a weird bug.
First time trying it, on OS X 10.9.1
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M
Installed latest Xquartz and Mono, restarted.
Let me know how I can help you test
Great app btw. :) However, when mining the app selects a coin profitability that is more than 100% profitable based off of BTC values. So for instance if Worldcoin is 3,888.88% more profitable to mine then the machine will be pegged there forever.
I also don't see how this value is true and maybe its not your app but coinchoose that has all the fuzzy math. I do base my profitability on LTC because some coins I do trade in to LTC so primarily I would like to know how profitable X-Coin is vs LTC and not BTC.
Any help would be appreciated, and Thank you.
First: nice work done with multiminer !
Trying it out for a bigger project.
Q1: is there a way to follow up more then 80 computers in a network mining? (like mobileminer on windows)
Q2: Do i let those computers conect to a pool directly or is there a better way ? (windows)
With kind greetings.
If I only have one coin configuration enabled on one of my rigs and all the pools go down, it disables that coin config. I found one rig idling, not mining because the pools were all down for a brief period, but MultiMiner didn't re-enable that config once the pools were back up.
Also, It would be nice to see the date/time a machine was last online if it is offline in MobileMiner
Versione 2.2.6 / 2.2.7
Device: erupter
MultiMiner try to launch bfgminer with there command
-I D --scan noauto --quota "100;xxx" -u yyy.zzz -p "" --quota "aaaaa" -u -p "" -S erupter:.\COM6 -d erupter@.\COM6 --api-listen --api-port 4028 --api-allow W:127.0.0.1, -T
The problem should be the missing value for the "-u" parameter.
thanks
