If I remember right, each time it moves the cursor it should call GetCursorInfo() and Windows will let the bot know that the icon has changed. Basically, if you see the icon change when the bot is moving the mouse - the bot should see it too and stop.

Do you know if anything is unusual about your setup? Like any windows accessibility stuff you might have turned on?

I'll search around a bit on Google and see, but off the top of my head I don't know why it wouldn't work.

Yes the icon changes. I have tried running as admin as well but no luck. I dont have any advanced security type stuff enabled that I know of. Thanks for looking into it :)

@coldmedic20 - To be perfectly honest....I have no idea why it's not working. Sorry! If you're willing to test it a few times, I can try adding some logging information so we can see what values it's getting for the mouse pointers and see where we can go from there. Unless someone has a better idea :)

It'd probably be Tuesday or Wednesday, or maybe even as late as Saturday before I could get you that build. Let me know, as long as you don't mind running it and posting the results, I'd be happy to try get to the bottom of this.

I think I'm having the same problem as coldmedic20. I am running the newest version of Ultimate Fishbot with WoW client 6.0.3. I have gotten the Fishbot as far as "Finding Bobber" and the cursor runs in a spiral pattern in the window, but the bot never actually detects the bobber even though Fishbot hears the fish. I know the rest of the bot is working because if I take manual control of the cursor and place it on the bobber, when Fishbot hears a bite, it will click and loot the fish.

I have tried changing the scanning settings but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

EDIT - I fixed it. Turns out I had Hardware Mouse Cursor disabled. Enabling it fixed the bot! Awesome :D

Hello, i have exactly the same Problem - the cursor runs over the bobber and changes but it is not detected by the bot. Switching to HW Mouse Cursor didnt help in my case.
My Problem may be that the Bot is running inside a VmWare Workstation 11 VM with Win 8.1 in it. WoW runs fine there and on real hardware the bot also runs fine. But not yet in a combination of both...

Should work in VMs too, if the issue persists with latest version please reopen the issue
