If the amount grow, why not sharing with the most active(s) contributor(s) (aka henrikhermansen atm), but $30 is not worth the trouble

I think this problem has resolved itself :) The spike of traffic has gone. Anyway, I'm happy enough to remove the ads from the bot - but I wanted to add something that would let us communicate with users. So far, one user (who used the bot a lot) reported a temporary (3 day ban). That's not so bad, but if Warden is updated to look for/ban users of the bot - the old ad screen also provided a way to stop users from running the bot.

I've added a text file to the website (http://www.fishbot.net/status.txt) and added code to the startup to check for that file. If it can't find the file or the contents != 'safe' it will display a warning. This way, if people report problems with bans, I can update that file and let people know what is happening.

I'm afraid I only know English though :) So I lazily embedded the English text as-is; but please feel free to update or move it around a bit.

In regards to the ban, I rather think it was over-using the bot, rather than the bot program being detected. If you're online for days on, of course Blizzard will be suspicious and check you out.

@henrikhermansen - Agreed. To be honest, I think his e-mail was a perfect example of what NOT to do :) No disrespect to him intended. Still - if there ever is a wave of bans, I can update that file and people will get a heads up before using it. I know this was years ago, but I remember WoWGlider users getting banned in mass. I might be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure everyone was perma-banned too.
