Hi , in the flights directory execute
g++ -framework PROJ -std=c++11 -I/usr/local/include/cairo -L/usr/local/lib/ -lcairo main.cpp
error occurred below
main.cpp:20:10: fatal error: 'PROJ/proj_api.h' file not found #include <PROJ/proj_api.h> ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1 error generated.
I spent much time to do it , its don't work, please hep me ,thanks .

The roads to rome is indeed not open source although (as you already stated) the tools are and I was playing around with this and GraphHopper as well here

Using some simple modification of the MiniUIGraph tool which you can find here

The advantage is that you directly use the map data of GraphHopper without any additional DB.
